We try not to apply any age restrictions at the LEGOLAND Parks. However due to certain health and safety regulations, you will need to be of a certain age to fulfill some of our attraction-based roles. You must be at least 16 years of age to apply except in the case of Entertainment Performers.

If you are under the age of 18 in California you will need to obtain a work permit from your school. If you’re under 18 and have already graduated…congratulations! All you need is a copy of your diploma or final transcript.

US Department of Homeland Security requires proof of eligibility in order to work in the US. You will be required to provide documentation within 3 days of your start date. To view a full list of appropriate documentation please visit

Yes you will. All of our Model Citizens can visit their home attractions at no charge as much as they would like by simply using their MC ID. After a successful completion of an introductory period MCs are issued a Merlin Magic Pass enabling them to share with their friends and family or personally experience many of our other fabulous attractions and theme parks worldwide. You'll never be so popular.

We firmly believe that if you enjoy your time working here, our customers are much more likely to have an enjoyable time too! Without a doubt the roles can be very hard and demanding - it takes a special kind of person to be as friendly and positive at the end of the day as they are at the beginning! Our teams of staff are welcoming, committed, and believe in supporting each other to get the job done. Remember there will be plenty of people in the same boat as you! Additionally, all of our managers operate an open door policy, so there's always someone to talk to if you need to.

Shifts vary according to the position and department as well as your availability. These will be agreed at the recruitment stage. Keep in mind we are open seven days a week and holidays, with varying hours depending on the season.

You should dress in an appropriate manner consistent with the role you're applying for. If in any doubt, smarter is better. This is an interview after all, and you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

This will vary from role to role, however, typically you may be required to complete short exercises in teams and participate in an interview. This is the ideal opportunity for you to find out more about what it is like to work for us, and for us to find out more about you. While you may be nervous about the prospect, rest assured they're designed to be enjoyable and fun!

As the roles we offer are incredibly unique, so too are the selection processes. As a guide, it may include a combination of the following: interview, assessment center, or a presentation. All of which are designed to help us effectively assess whether we're a good fit.

We try to respond to all applicants even if it is a thank you for applying email or decline notice. However, due to the overwhelming volume of applicants you may not hear from us as quickly as you would like. On the flip side if you have applied for several positions you may even receive multiple notifications. Please don’t be discouraged and keep trying.

As soon as we receive your application, you will automatically be sent an email, confirming we have it. We use an online system to manage all of our applications so you will find the majority of correspondence you receive will be by email, however we assure you we have a busy team of recruiters behind the scenes at each site reading your applications and looking for our future Model Citizens!
